Welcome to Flag Star Football

This league is the best. It's fun. It's high-energy. It's the league we wanted as kids.

And we exist for two reasons: To Get Better. And Have Fun

At the core of our organization, that's what we're about. Getting better and having fun. We're about positive coaches who love teaching the game. We're about supportive parents and compassionate referees. We're about low-pressure environments where kids can just play!

This is a league for everyone -- whether you're an all-star or a couch potato. Boy or girl. Rich or poor. We believe in the power of play and we believe everyone should have that opportunity.

Flag Star Football is the absolute highlight of our sports schedule. Every time we step on the field, there’s a ton of positive energy, great coaching and — most importantly — FUN!

June 10th. Kids Combine. Georgetown University

Have you heard about this thing? Do yourself the favor...

This is the real deal. Held in Georgetown's Football Stadium (with GU players and coaches helping!), it's an awesome day of football.

Much like the NFL combine, we'll put the kids through drills, tests and competitions. Unlike the NFL combine, no one is signing million dollar contracts afterwards.

Not AT ALL like the NFL combine -- we'll be selling hot dogs.

"WE ARE BEYOND THRILLED WITH FLAG STAR - - it's exceeded all our expectations.

It is by far the most organized, well-managed league we have ever joined.  The coaching has been top-notch and and our son has learned an incredible amount since he first started playing.  But most importantly, he has fun!"

Scholarships/Financial Aid

That's our policy. As long as we're around, we'll never turn a kid away.

If you need financial assistance, PLEASE drop us a line and let us know. We're here to help.

And if you can provide financial assistance, THANK YOU for donating to our scholarship fund.

We're currently raising money to provide summer camp scholarships. These scholarships are part of an incentive program with a center we work with in SE DC. Really cool stuff.

Want to send a kid to a week of camp? $200. And a whole lot of gratitude from our end.

Checks can be made out to the Flag Star Football Foundation and sent to 4702 8th St NW DC 20011.

It takes a village. Thanks for being part of ours.

"I can't tell you what a GREAT time our boys had - one of Sam's best birthdays ever.  Your coaches were just amazing - they actually put in more time than expected.  And we really appreciated their efforts to keep everybody interested and included - we had several absolute beginners, but the coaches helped them join right in.

Josef (3rd grade Ravens) had an incredible experience.  The coach set an exceptional example of how to try your hardest while having fun, encouraging your teammates, brushing off disappointment to get ready for the next play...I could go on with more examples; he was an exceptional coach, and we are extremely grateful to have Josef see him as a role model.

Jeremy (6th grade Raiders) thoroughly enjoyed his experience and looked forward to seeing coach Justin and his teammates (a great group of boys) each week.  Coach seemed to be the perfect fit for this team and for Jeremy- he was low key, low stress, emphasized working together, celebrating together and picking each other up after a tough play.

And not to leave out the other guys -- the refs were professional, very positive, and brought a great energy to the field!"

"The COACHES HAVE BEEN GREAT AT FINDING THE BEST WITHIN THE KIDS and teaching them football skills, plays and strategy, as well as long-term skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership. The league is very well-organized, lots of communication, and great value for the price.
