Aaron Hutchins
Director of Curriculum
I’m Coach Aaron from Virginia Beach, VA. I’m a fan of all Washington teams (Go Commanders!). I played Division 1 football at Howard University, where I held down the offensive line and earned my degree in Sports Medicine.
I first got involved with Flag Star Football during my college offseasons, and after graduating in 2018, I joined full-time. I’ve been coaching ever since and loving every minute of it. Helping players grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
When I’m not out on the field, you can usually find me walking the trails with my big ole Rottweiler, his name is Coach! I’m a big foodie, so whether I’m trying something new in the kitchen or exploring local spots, good food is always part of the playbook.
“My first flag football season, I was paired with a phenomenal coach who made me fall in love with the game. Fast forward to a college football player at Howard. Again, blessed with great coaches who taught me the game at a very high level, and taught me how to pay attention to details on the field. All of my learned coaching tips comes from the coaches who paved the way for me, and my biggest football motivation is to give all of what I have to the kids who come into this league. ”
