Values that I believe are most foundational in football and can be applicable to life are discipline, hard work and selflessness. Discipline and hard work because there are times that you aren't going to want to do things you have to do in life, but you have to push through and do them, similar to on the football field. You won't always feel like practicing or running fast, but you convince yourself to do it. Selflessness comes in because all of your teammates are depending on you to do it! No matter what your future goals are in life, forming these habits on the football field are pivotal towards the person you want your future self to be.
