OVERVIEW
Flag Star Football seeks an Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of league operations while helping improve systems, workflows, and organizational efficiency across the organization.
This role sits at the intersection of operations, logistics, and coordination. The Coordinator will manage core operational functions—including HQ communications, scheduling, team logistics, and procurement—while also helping build and improve internal systems and processes that support the organization’s continued growth.
This is a high-impact role responsible not just for executing processes, but for improving how work gets done across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited about finding smarter and more efficient ways to work, including being open to learning and using AI tools and new technologies where helpful.
This is a hybrid position. Candidates must be located in the Washington, D.C. area.
ABOUT OPERATIONS AT FLAG STAR
Operations is the backbone of Flag Star Football. This function ensures that leagues run smoothly—from team formation and scheduling to equipment, field logistics, and communication with families.
As Flag Star continues to grow, operations must also evolve. This role will play a key part in improving systems, reducing manual work, and helping create more scalable and consistent processes across the organization.

Flag Star Football is a fun, high-functioning and value-driven youth sports league. We believe in the power of flag football for fun, but also as a vehicle for modeling and teaching the values and change we’d like to see in the world. Through a variety of for-profit and non-profit initiatives, our goal is to create a positive, productive ecosystem for everyone (our staff very much included!).
In 2026, the league will process ~ 20,000 registrations, while also providing >2000 scholarships.

YOUR IMPACTOperations & Logistics
Serve as the central point of contact for HQ communications, including managing the main email inbox and phone line
Support team formation, roster management, and league scheduling
Coordinate league logistics, including anticipating scheduling challenges and competitive balance
Manage procurement and inventory of jerseys, wearables, and field equipment
Assist in vendor coordination, purchasing processes, and potential RFP development
Support permitting applications and related administrative processes
Act as a central hub for office operations and cross-functional coordination
Systems & Process Improvement
Help improve internal workflows and operational systems across the organization
Develop and manage forms and tracking systems (e.g., field manager reports, incident reports, team/store workflows)
Identify opportunities to streamline administrative and operational processes
Support reporting, scheduling, communication, and organizational tracking systems
Help reduce manual work and improve consistency across operations
Be open to learning and utilizing new tools and technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve efficiency where appropriate
YOUR EXPERIENCEDemonstrated experience in operations, logistics, administration, or a similar role
Experience managing multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Comfort learning and working with systems, tools, and process-building; openness to learning new technologies and AI tools to support operational efficiency is a plus
Experience with scheduling, logistics, or inventory management is a plus
Ability to work in-person Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Flag Star Office (Hyattsville, MD) and adapt to a dynamic and non-traditional work schedule (including weekend events).

SALARY & BENEFITS
The Washington, DC-based salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits include 100% employer-paid health, flexible paid time off, access to a 401k plan, and more.

OVERVIEW
Flag Star Football seeks a Personnel Coordinator (part-time, contract role) to support staffing, hiring logistics, and personnel coordination across our seasonal leagues and programs.
This role is critical to ensuring our leagues are fully staffed and that coaches, referees, and field staff are supported throughout the season. You will work closely with the Director of Personnel and support our full-time Outreach Coordinator in day-to-day operations.
This is a full-time, contract role running from mid-to-late May through November 20, 2026, with the potential for extension and opportunities to take on increased ownership as the organization continues to grow.

Flag Star Football Foundation seeks a Director of Partnerships to lead and grow fundraising, including sponsorships, corporate partnerships and smaller-dollar donations
This role will focus on building relationships with corporate partners, foundations, and families within our community to support the Flag Star Football Foundation. The Director will help identify new opportunities, develop partnership proposals, and manage ongoing relationships that drive both revenue and impact.
This is a full-time, high-impact role with flexibility and potential to expand as partnerships grow.

YOUR IMPACTPartnership Development
Identify, research, and prioritize prospective corporate sponsors and partners aligned with Flag Star’s mission
Conduct proactive outreach (email, calls, networking) to generate new partnership opportunities
Develop customized partnership proposals, pitch decks, and sponsorship packages tailored to each partner
Collaborate on creative partnership ideas that provide value to both Flag Star and the partner
Support grant research, identify funding opportunities, and assist in drafting or coordinating submissions
Maintain and update a pipeline of prospective partners and track outreach efforts
Create data‑driven materials for donors, including metrics on program participation, athlete pathways, and impact stories
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners and sponsors
Serve as a primary point of contact for partner communication and engagement
Ensure all partnership deliverables, benefits, and activations are executed at a high level
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, marketing, events) to fulfill partnership commitments
Monitor partner satisfaction and proactively identify opportunities to deepen relationships
Support renewal conversations and help secure ongoing partnerships
Manage and support the Board of Directors, including communication, meeting preparation, and follow‑through on development‑related priorities
Sponsorships
Lead the development, refinement, and execution of Flag Star’s sponsorship strategy
Build and maintain a structured sponsorship pipeline, including seasonal and year‑round opportunities
Create and update sponsorship packages, pricing, and benefit structures
Coordinate sponsor activations across programs, events, and community initiatives
Track sponsorship performance, deliverables, and fulfillment to ensure high‑quality execution
Identify new sponsorship categories and long‑term revenue opportunities
Collaborate with leadership to ensure sponsorships align with organizational goals and brand standards
Fundraising & Strategy
Design and execute fundraising campaigns, including setting targets for revenue needs and reserve goals
Help develop and refine overall partnership and sponsorship strategy
Identify new revenue streams and partnership opportunities to support organizational growth
Track and analyze partnership performance, revenue, and outreach metrics
Maintain organized records of partnerships, contacts, and deal progress
Assist in setting and working toward fundraising and partnership goals
Develop and manage donor plans, including monthly giving options for parents and community members
Define and maintain clear eligibility criteria for financial aid, ensuring transparency and consistency
Oversee the full lifecycle of Foundation Day, including planning, securing sponsors, partner engagement, logistics, and event‑day execution
YOUR EXPERIENCEExperience in partnerships, fundraising, sales, or business development
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
