FAQs
Who can attend the camp?
The camp is open to a MAXIMUM of 120 girls who are rising 8th-12th graders. Players are grouped by age and skill level to ensure a safe, competitive, and supportive experience for every athlete.
Where is the camp held?
Camp takes place at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA (1200 N Quaker Ln, Alexandria, VA 22302) — a secure private school campus with on-site dorms, dining hall, athletic fields, and classroom spaces.
What are the rooming arrangements?
Athletes stay in supervised on-campus dormitories.
Rooms are typically doubles or triples
2 female staff members are present on each floor 24/7
Roommate requests can be made during registration
What does the daily schedule look like?
Each day includes a mix of on-field training, leadership workshops, competitive sessions, recovery breaks, and group activities. Full itineraries are sent to families before camp.
Are meals provided?
Yes. All meals are provided through the campus dining hall. A variety of options are available, and all major allergens or dietary restrictions can be accommodated—just note them during registration.
What should athletes bring?
A full packing list is emailed after registration. Basics include cleats, mouthguard, athletic apparel for all weather, toiletries, a water bottle, and twin-XL bedding or sleeping bag.
Can athletes bring their phones?
Phones are allowed, but must remain off the field during training sessions and team meetings. Athletes may use devices during free time and in the dorms.
What supervision is provided?
Safety is our top priority. Female coaches and staff members live on each dorm floor, run all on-field sessions, and supervise transitions, meals, and evening activities.
What if my athlete has a medical condition or needs medication?
Please list any medical needs during registration. Our trained staff oversees medication distribution, emergency protocols, and communication with families if any issues arise.
Is transportation included?
Transportation to and from camp is not included. Clear arrival and departure instructions will be emailed ahead of time.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund up to 45 days before camp
50% refund 30–44 days before camp
Inside 30 days, registrations may be transferred to another athlete or future Flag Star event
Are scholarships available?
Yes — limited need-based scholarships are available. You can indicate interest directly in the registration form.
Will there be photos or videos of the athletes?
Yes. Daily recaps, action photos, and a final highlight reel are included in registration. Families will receive a shared gallery link after camp.
